Amazon is still interested in building a distribution center in cooperation with the developer CTP in the Černovické Industrial zone in Brno and is so far refusing to consider alternative plots offered to it at the nearby airport industrial zone. Brno’s city assembly is due to take a fourth vote on the matter on April 15. Mayor Roman Onderka told Hodposdařské noviny that the assembly would consider making the necessary changes to the city’s master plan, a key point in the proposed contract with Amazon. Last-minute objections to the contract have foiled the planned investment on three previous votes by the assembly.
