Brno’s total supply of office stock reached 570,300 sqm as of the first half of 2018, with class A properties making up 82 percent of the city’s modern stock and class B properties the remainder. Two new office buildings were completed during the first half of the year: Campus Science Park DE (a 13,300 sqm building) and Vlněna Office Park FG (12,400 sqm). According to the Regional Research Forum, 50,200 sqm of Brno’s current office stock (8.8 percent) is currently vacant, which is a 1.5 percent increase from the second half of 2017. Total take-up for the period was 45,600 sqm, including Moravia IT’s deal for 8,500 sqm at Vlněna Office Park. The research forum writes that prime rents in Brno rose to €14.00 to €14.50 per square meter per month.
