Broker Consulting’s revenues rose 5.7 percent to CZK 2.8 billion last year, according to audited results. Revenues of rival group Partners rose 13 percent to CZK 3.5 billion last year.
“In the past year, we have done much more to help clients review their household budgets, plan their savings and also help them prepare for old age. Protecting our clients’ financial reserves against high inflation has become a major focus. People perceived the value of their savings decreasing,” said Petr Hrubý, founder and chairman of the company’s supervisory board.
According to him, the past year was characterised by changes in the market for financial products, which were influenced by the large increase in energy costs and the simultaneous rapid increase in interest rates for loans and mortgages. “We saw a sharp increase in demand in insurance. There has been a long-standing problem of underinsurance of the population in both life and property insurance in the Czech Republic,” added Vilém Podliska, the company’s CEO.
Due to less available mortgages and inflation, the domestic real estate market has slowed down, but this has not affected the company’s overall results, he said. While in 2021 Broker Consulting helped clients sell CZK 10.5 billion worth of real estate in the Czech Republic, last year it was CZK 10.3 billion.
The company thus confirmed that it is one of the three largest real estate service providers in the Czech Republic. This was also due to the successful sale of approximately 100 development projects, including projects under the brands belonging to Broker Consulting, BC Real and Broker Development. These include the Nová Papírna and Byty Borský park projects in Pilsen and Central Point Kladno. In addition, last year, other projects under the names Rezidence Golf Ostravice, Na Vyhlídce Kaplice and Apartments na sjezdovce Plešivec began to be prepared.
Broker Consulting is one of the largest companies providing joint financial and real estate services on the Czech and Slovak market. The company’s services are provided by approximately 2,000 people in more than 100 offices and 50 franchise branches of OK POINT. Broker Consulting services are used by approximately 600,000 clients.
