Extensive renovation work of the eleven storey building Brühlpelz-Hochhaus at Brühl 34-50 in Leipzig has gotten underway. The Hagenauer Group is acting as general contractor on behalf of the owner, the Leipzig Stadtbau AG. The property will be renovated and turned into a hotel and office building, with completion planned in 2017. The 4-star hotel Adina Apartment will offer 166 hotel rooms and studios, a restaurant conference rooms and a swimming pool. The ninth and tenth floors of the building will be turned into office units. The Brühlpelz-Hochhaus building was constructed in 1965 for trading company Interpelz and has served primarily as an office building since then.
