Brussels Airlines has axed service this year to two Croatian holiday destinations for the rest of the year: Zagreb and Zadar. The troubled airline is cancelling all of its unprofitable lines as well as those that are barely making a return. It has left the Brussels-Split and Brussels-Dubrovnik routes intact, however, according to Croatian Aviation.
The route to Zadar was introduced in May 2018 as a seasonal line, while service to Zagreb began as far back as 2015. On the line between Zagreb and Brussels, there will still be the option of a direct flight, as Croatia Airlines ran a twice-daily flight before the pandemic.
