BSB Fashion Romania, a subsidiary of the Greek fashion retailer BSB, opened a new store in a historic building on Magheru Boulevard in Bucharest. This is BSB’s first high street store in Romania, and the company spent €1m restoring the 1,700 sqm building.
BSB plans to occupy 200 sqm of the space and lease out the rest. The building was bought in 2006, but renovation work did not started until this past April, said Carabaş George, BSB Fashion Romania’s financial director.
BSB Fashion has been operating on the Romanian market for seven years and currently has 14 stores in its regional network. It opened stores in AFI Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest and Constanta City Park earlier this year.
