Panattoni completed the BREEAM 2016 International New Construction certification process with a Very Good rating for BTS Amazon in Gliwice. The facility, offering 210,000 sqm, was subjected to a multi-criteria assessment, attaining a Very Good score for energy and water-saving systems and for land use and ecology. The certification process began at the project’s planning stage. “Over the past few years we have become a leader in regards to the number of certified facilities. However, it is the successful certification of the facility in Gliwice that helped show our true potential. Over 200,000 sqm of green space attest to tremendous growth that we have experienced in the area of delivering environmentally friendly warehouses and logistic centers,” said Emilia Debowska, sustainability manager at Panattoni. “Thanks to investment projects of that kind and our Go Earthwise with Panattoni concept we can become an important part of the green revolution in construction. We believe that more and more companies will join and that we will save the planet together.”
