Bucharest apartment prices falling

4 December 2012

Prices for three-room apartments in Bucharest fell by 4 percent this year and are currently averaging €74,900, according to the daily Ziarul Financiar. But in some areas such as the capital’s Titan, Drumul Taberei and Berceni neighborhoods, prices are even lower with average selling prices for three-room apartments reaching around €60,000.

While demand on the residential market seems to be declining, the capital’s supply continues to grow. During the first nine months of the year, 26,654 new units were completed in Bucharest.
