The Municipal Committee for Emergency Situations decided the new restrictions in force starting with March 8, following the entry of Bucharest in the red scenario. Thus, the new measures include the closure of restaurants and cafes inside buildings, hotels, pensions and other accommodation units, bars, discos and clubs.
The preparation, marketing and consumption of food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in specially designed outdoor spaces shall be permitted. A minimum distance of 2 meters between tables and the participation of a maximum of 6 people at a table must be ensured. It is forbidden the activity in cinemas, theaters, concert halls, including drive-ins, as well as the organization and outdoor performance of shows, concerts, public and private festivals or other cultural events. It is mandatory to wear a protective mask indoors as well as outdoors.
