Office demand in Bucharest hit 325,000 sqm in 2018, according to CBRE. More than 81 percent of the lease deals were for space in class A buildings. The capital’s modern office supply reached 2.91 million sqm in 2018, with 144,000 sqm delivered in the 12-month period, up 15 percent from the previous year. Fifteen new projects are scheduled to break ground in 2019, with 50 percent of the total space already pre-leased.
