Bucharest office take-up in 2017 exceeds 310,000 sqm

Take-up on the Bucharest office market exceeded 310,000 sqm in 2017, according to Knight Frank’s European Commercial Property Outlook report. The figure is close to the 2016 record, and Knight Frank is forecasting that the trend will likely continue this year. Demand from existing tenants as well as new entrants is expected in 2018, with Bucharest remaining a key investment destination. The capital’s Calea Floreasca and Barbu Vacarescu areas reported the biggest market demand, accounting for 16 percent of the total deals.
