More than 48,000 sqm in new leases were signed on the Bucharest office market in the first three months of the year, while 12,000 sqm were renewals and extensions. This represents the highest demand the city has seen in the last seven years, according to a recent report by DTZ Echinox, with 50 percent of office space currently underway already pre-leased. The level of office vacancy now stands at 16.7 percent.
