Office take-up in Bucharest for class A and B properties reach approximately 97,300 sqm in the first three months of 2017, according to Knight Frank. Two projects in the city’s Central Business District added 9,550 sqm to the market, while the average transaction size increased from 1,800 sqm in Q1 2016 to 2,400 sqm in Q1 2017.
The biggest leases deals reported between January and March included a 20,000 sqm renewal in Pipera as well as a 10,300 sqm deal in Calea Floreasca/Barbu Văcărescu and a 10,000 sqm deal at Presei Libere Square. The office division of Knight Frank Romania reported approximately 31,000 sqm in lease deals for the quarter.
