The Minister of Transport says that the new road to Ploiesti is to be inaugurated on June 30. At this point, the highway has no exits or entrances along its entire 60 km length, nor does it have emergency equipment such as phones.
At kilometer 18, where the first intersection should be, Cotidianul says there’s a lot of mud, instead of asphalt.
Neither is the exit at kilometer 18 prepared. However, former Minister of Transport Alexandru Nazare, has said that regulations allow for putting a highway into use without functioning exits.
