In the third quarter of 2014, the number of completed apartments in Bucharest – Ilfov increased 64% compared to the same period last year, according to data released by the National Statistics Institute. In fact, the first 9 months of 2014 were the strongest in the last decade for the delivery of new housing with 5,657 houses and apartments completed. Construction of residential projects grew in neighboring regions of Bucharest where projects which match the government’s “First House” program requirements are growing in number.
