Bucharest’s Hotel Triumf named new DNA headquarters

29 June 2016

Hotel Triumf in Bucharest will become the new headquarters of Romania’s National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA). “The government decided to transfer Hotel Triumf from private to public property of the state and it will serve as main headquarters for one of the public institutions that badly needs a location and which has no proper conditions to carry out its activity,” government officials said in a statement.
Located on Kiseleff street, the historic hotel is managed by Branch of Representation and Protocol Triumph (RA-APPS), part of the Heritage and State Protocol Administration. RA-APPS tried to sell the property 10 years ago for €40m but could not find a buyer.
