Budimex recorded PLN 459.47 million of consolidated net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company in 2020 compared to PLN 226.01 million of profit a year earlier, the company said.
The operating profit amounted to PLN 638.57 million versus PLN 318.39 million profit a year earlier. Consolidated sales revenues amounted to PLN 8,382.24 million in 2020 compared to PLN 7,569.66 million a year earlier.
“The revenues from the sales of the Budimex Group in 2020 reached the level of PLN 8.4 billion and were higher by PLN 0.8 billion than in 2019. The sales were at a better level than our assumptions and forecasts. We estimate that the total impact of the pandemic on the group’s operating result was over PLN 33 million. It mainly related to additional costs related to the extension of the duration of several contracts and the cost of purchasing personal protective equipment and employee testing.
