Building materials supplier Izomat stavebniny buys the JPM Metal building materials network

Supplier of building materials, the company Izomat stavebniny, has purchased the network of building materials stores in the Vysočina region JPM Metal. Their merger is assessed by the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS), which reported on its website. Izomat is one of the big players in the building materials market.

“The proposed merger of competitors occurs mainly in the area of ​​sales of building materials,” the office said on its website. It assesses the transaction in the so-called simplified procedure, and thus issues a decision within 20 days.

According to data on its website, the Izomat stavebniny business corporation was established in 1991 and has a network of 29 branches in the Czech Republic. According to the annual report for 2020, it reported a profit of 44 million crowns. According to the data provided in the Commercial Register, Jaromír Čížek and Luděk Strnadel, who each own half of the company, have been the company’s executives since its establishment.

JPM Metal, which operates building materials stores in the Vysočina Region in Žďár nad Sázavou, Maršovice near Nové Město na Moravě, Hlinsku and Svratka, was founded in 1997. According to the annual report published in the collection of documents, it reported a profit of 17.5 million. crown. The executives and owners of the company are Rudolf Brunst and Martin Stejskal.
