There were 636 building permits issued on the Croatian market in June, up 31.4 percent y-o-y, according to the country’s Bureau of Statistics. The total number of building permits issued between January and June also increased by 22.8 percent from the previous year.
Of the total issued, 81.6 percent were for buildings, while 18.4 percent were for civil engineering. New builds accounted for 70.6 percent of the permits, while 29.4 percent were for reconstructions.
