A total of 292 building permits were issued in May on the Macedonian market, up 57 percent y-o-y, according to the State Statistical Office. The value of the projects that received building permits for the month totaled €80.68m, up 13 percent y-o-y.
Of the total number of issued permits, 163 (55.8 percent) were for buildings, 33 (11.3 percent) were for civil engineering structures, and 96 (32.9 percent) were for reconstructions.
