The owner of the the five-storey building at the junction of 66 Panepistimiou Street at 2 Patision Avenue in Athens have received bids from five potential buyers so far. The invitation to bid runs out on August 26, unless the owner chooses to extend the deadline. Until recently, the building’s ground floor was occupied by a bakery run by the Choriatiko chain.
The owners are looking for around €4 million for the building through the sale, which is being handled by Cushman & Wakefield Proprius. The transaction is reportedly the first to be attempted in the center of Athens to be attempted while the work on the Grand Promenade is underway. The building can be used for retail and offices and is located on a 246 square meter plot.
