The Bulgarian government has set aside nearly €61m for infrastructure projects in 2016. The money will go toward preventive roadway maintenance in northern Bulgaria as well as repair works and the completion of road infrastructure projects across the country.
The regions that will benefit the most are Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Razgrad, Silistra. An additional €7.6m will be invested this year into eight metro stations in Sofia.
