Bulgaria’s GDP up by 2.9% in Q1

The Bulgarian economy exceeded €9.15bn in the first three months of the year, up 2.9 percent from the previous year and 0.7 percent from the fourth quarter of 2015, according to the National Statistical Institute.
However, trade fell in Q1 2016, with exports of goods and services dropping by 0.3 percent, while imports decreased by 2.8 percent.
