The building Military NDK (the Military National Palace of Culture), which went under reconstruction works several years ago will be completed by November, declared the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, who was inspecting construction work on site.
The eight storey building was originally designed to serve as the National Army Complex of the Ministry of Defence, but its construction was stopped by Defense Minister Nikolai Tsonev when funds for its construction ran out.
The 1,703 sqm building will now serve as Sofia’s District Court and Sofia Regional Prosecutor’s Office. The new budget for the building is €7.4m for the construction work and €2.6m for the fitout.
