Bulgarian President Roumen Radev won a second term of office with 66.7 percent of votes cast in the run-off against Sofia University rector Professor Anastas Gerdzhikov.
Gerdzhikov received 31.8 percent of the votes, while 1.5 percent of the voters chose the “I don’t support anyone” option.
Radev first won election as head of state in November 2016, with 59.4 percent of the vote, or 2.06 million votes.
