Bulgarian unemployment falls to 10 percent in December

Bulgaria’s unemployment rate fell to 10 percent December last year, a 0.7 percent decrease compared to the same month of 2014 and a 0.1 percent increase compared to November 2015. A total of 328,921 people registered as jobless in December, 4,861 people more than in November, but 22,130 less than in December of 2014.

The biggest number of job openings were declared in the processing industry, followed by commerce, the state administration, administrative activities, the hotel and restaurant businesses and finance and insurance.
