Burgas Airport reopens after repairs

Burgas Airport has reopened. The airport closed on Oct. 31 for two months of repair work, including upgrades to the management system, lighting controls and equipment for landing lights. However, much of the of the work is reportedly not yet complete.

Costs have exceeded €6m, according to statement issued by the airport operator, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD. More than 200 people worked on the reconstruction.
