Burgas Airport to shut for €6m renovation

Burgas Airport is set to undergo a complex, two-month renovation starting Oct. 31. The airport will be closed until the work is completed. The renovation will include upgrades to the management system, lighting controls and equipment for landing lights.

The total investment in the project will be more than €6m according to statement issued by the airport operator, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD. More than 200 people will be working on the reconstruction.
