Burlington Hospitality buys Hialeah Holiday Inn Express

North Carolina-based Burlington Hospitality has purchased the Holiday Inn Express in Hialeah for $12 million. Built in 1989, the five-story, 146-room hotel traded for just under $82,192 per key. The seller, Hialeah Park Inn, a company affiliated with Sound Hospitality Management in Miami, bought the W. 20th Ave. property located in 1992 for $4.55 million. Sound Hospitality recently sold the Holiday Inn on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami for $65 million to the developer Gilberto Bomeny. The property is slated to be redeveloped into a 77 story mixed-use project called World Trade Center of the Americas.
