International design studio Buro Happold has extended its lease in the central-Warsaw Spektrum Tower building owned by Globalworth. The company occupies 1,300 sqm of office space.
BuroHappold Polska has had its regional headquarters in the Spektrum Tower building since 2016. The Warsaw branch currently employs over 120 engineers and consultants. The company’s office was the first in Poland to receive the innovative WELL certificate, which is concerned with the health and well-being of the users of a property.
“Spektrum Tower is one of the most iconic and best-situated office buildings in Warsaw. As the landlord and manager, we also have our offices in the building, so we make every effort to ensure that all the tenants have the highest levels of comfort and service. Buro Happold is one of our biggest tenants in Spektrum Tower and so we are all the more glad that the company has decided to stay with us for a few more years to come,” says Anna Korwin-Kulesza, Senior Leasing Manager at Globalworth Poland.
“In over 45 years of operations, we have built up the reputation of Buro Happold as a company that supplies valuable and creative solutions for an ever-more demanding world. We value sustainable development particularly highly since it allows us to achieve superb results for both our clients and society. This was one of the reasons we decided to stay on for longer in Spektrum Tower, a building that in 2021 was awarded a BREEAM certificate with a rating of ‘Excellent’ and where work is still ongoing to lower the carbon footprint. Our employees like the building’s superb location, which encourages them to use public transportation and is conducive to maintaining a work-life balance,” says Zbigniew Czajewski, Partner at Buro Happold.
