Buyers targeting €60,000 flats in Bucharest

Two-room apartments that cost less than €60,000 are the most sought after residential units in Bucharest, according to a study by Imopedia.ro.

The study found buyers main criteria in searching for a new apartment is the price. Buyers also take into account the size of the apartment as well as the neighborhood. The capital’s top neighborhood choices, according to Imopedia.ro, include Bercen/Popesti Leordeni, Titan, Baneasa/Pipera and Colentina/Obor.

According to the survey, 87 percent of buyers prefer purchasing apartments in completed projects, while 10 percent are willing to buy a unit still under construction, and 3 percent said they would consider buying an apartment in a project still in the planning phase.
