BWI Group, a Chinese automotive manufacturer, has acquired a warehouse developed by Panattoni Europe and the investor Accolade located in Cheb, North Bohemia. The 15,000 sqm industrial facility was completed in 8 months and cost CZK 750m. The automotive supplier plans to start production in 2017 and employ a 300 staff. BWI is leasing the space from Accolade, who financed the project. Panattoni general director for Czech Republic and Slovakia Pavel Sovička says the deal with BWI triggered the rapid expansion of the Cheb industrial park, leading it to build another warehouse for the Accolade managed real estate investment fund.
