C-Mec, Standard Life sell industrial buildings

5 November 2014

C-Mec Holding sold an industrial building in the city of Kladno to a private Czech investor in a sale-and-leaseback deal. The 10,000 sqm office and warehouse building was built in 2000 in the Kladno-South industrial zone. An additional 4,000 sqm of space can be built on a neighboring plot. JLL advised C-Mec on the sale.

JLL also recently represented Standard Life Investments European Property Growth Fund, which sold its retail warehouse in Brno to Sconto Immobilien. The property is located near Olympia Brno and the D2 highway, which connects Brno and Bratislava. The total warehouse space exceeds 13,000 sqm. “These two transactions demonstrate that interest in the industrial and warehouse sector is not only focused on larger parks such as the Rudná Business Park or the Bora Bora Portfolio, but investors also see interesting opportunities in single tenanted standalone properties,” says Jakub Gajdoš, an investment analyst at JLL.
