CA Immo has acquired Am Karlsbad, a 10,000 sqm office building in the Potsdamer Platz submarket of Berlin. The building is fully leased and is located next to the Gleisdreick metro station and the Landwehr Canal. Christof Altendorfer, Managing Director of CA Immo Deutschland said the building would be a key addition to the company’s Berlin portfolio, which includes Königliche Direktion, Hallesches Ufer and Schöneberger Ufer. “We are confident in our ability to capture the reversion potential of the building and to position the property on a sustainable basis,” he said. CA Immo acquired the property from Real Capital with legal advice from Görg and valuation services by BNP Real Estate. The vendor was advised by Cushman & Wakefield.
