Cain International and its partner Freo Group have agreed on a €23 million line of from Caixabank to build a 15,000 square meter office building in the Barcelona technology district. The company acquired the project at the end of 2018 and now the City Council has granted the necessary municipal permits to start the work, which is expected to finish in 2021.
The building will offer amenities like a terrace garden, changing rooms , parking for electric and regular vehicles, parking for bicycles and multipurpose meeting spaces.
The 22@ Barcelona district is located on two hundred hectares of former industrial land in the south-east of the city. Since 2000, the district has attracted about 4,500 new companies and helped new start-ups get going.
