Campus specialist Robert Simmons made principal at Shepley Bulfinch

Architectural firm Shepley Bulfinch has named Robert Simmons as a principal. Simmons will focus on the design of campus life projects bolstering the firm’s higher education practice. His work includes transformations of iconic buildings at Harvard University, MIT, the University of Chicago, and Vanderbilt University. Formerly a principal and partner with Bruner/Cott & Associates, Simmons founded his own firm in 2016 before joining Shepley Bulfinch. Simmons holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie-Mellon University and is a member of the Boston Society of Architects, the Society of College and University Planners and the National Association of College and University Food Service
