BBX Capital Real Estate, a division of Fort Lauderdale-based BBX Capital Corp. has named David Canfield as managing director, multifamily development. Prior to joining BBX Capital, Canfield served as vice president of development at the multifamily communities unit of Miami-based Lennar Corp., where he was responsible for originating, analyzing, and managing multifamily development and acquisition strategies in Florida. Before he joined Lennar, Canfield was vice president of acquisitions and development for Archstone. Canfield holds a master’s degree in real estate from the University of Southern California.
