Florian Aldea has been elected president of the board of directors of Carpatcement Holding. He is also the cement manufacturer’s general director. Aldea replaces Mihai Rohan who retired as general director in 2010 and from the board of directors in 2012. Aldea was elected to a four-year term.
Part of German HeidelbergCement, Carpatcement Holding said its 2012 results were in line with its expectations despite the market’s difficult year. Carpatcement Holding predicts the cement market will likely continue to stagnate in 2013.
