Carr Properties has closed the purchase of a 4-story office property in the Central Business District of Bethesda, MD. for $105 million. Trading for a little over $644 per sqf, the 163,000 sqf building is located at 7272 Wisconsin Avenue. Carr intends to redevelop the property into a high quality, mixed-use development project that will include office, residential and retail uses in excess of 900,000 sqf. “We believe that the Apex site, as redeveloped, will be the new commercial hub of the Bethesda market with unparalleled access to public transportation, bike trails and the thriving restaurant and retail of Bethesda Row.
