Carrefour has extended their lease contract for the space of approximately 85,000 sqm that it occupies in the P3 Bucharest A1 industrial park, in the west of the Capital. The retailer has been a tenant of the industrial park since 2007, where it has gradually expanded. The contract was brokered by the real estate consulting company CBRE. “After 2020 was a year in which the industrial sector became the star of the real estate market worldwide, the year 2021 begins with a major transaction for the Romanian market, by extending the contract for the Carrefour warehouse. We are in the stage of consolidations, of large centralized warehouses and we expect more and more XXL warehouses to take shape both in Bucharest and in other key areas of the country.
