Carrefour continues expanding the logistics facilities it owns in Romania and will reach 10.2 ha of warehouses by the end of this year. “This year we plan new investments in the area of logistics,” said Andreea Mihai of Carrefour. She told ZiarulFinanciar that Carrefour signed a rental agreement with the logistics developer P3 last year for an 81,000 sqm storage facility in P3 Bucharest where it already operates a logistics warehouse. By the end of this year, Carrefour will move its activities into the newly rented space.
The French group also owns a 2.1 ha storage facility in the village Bacia, near Deva.
Carrefour Romania took Billa Romania and Billa Invest Construct last year. In Romania, Carrefour operates 190 stores.
