Castellum acquired the Salmisaarenaukio 1 office building in Helsinki from Skandia Fastigheter for €81m. Located in the capital’s Ruoholahti business district, the building offers 14,000 sqm of office space. Built in 2007, the property is currently fully leased to tenants like Nokia and Fennovoima. The yearly rental income is approximately €5m. This is Castellum’s first purchase in Finland. The company’s CEO, Henrik Saxborn, said he is looking for other opportunities on the local market. “This is the next step in our strategy to grow and establish ourselves in several Nordic growth areas. We aim to be one of the major commercial real estate owners in Helsinki,” he said.
