The Catholic Church in Nitra wants to develop family homes on a 56,000 sqm stretch of land it owns just outside the city along the R1 motorway in western Slovakia. The church is planning to cut the parcel into 69 plots, ranging from 690 sqm to 1,021 sqm, and sell them to an investor who will build homes on the site. The project, called Nové Janíkovce, is being prepared by Parnas, an architecture and real estate company. Service infrastructure is also part of the project, but the church still wants to discuss the details with the city, writes Trend Reality. Construction should start in September 2015, with completion expected in two years. The total investment is estimated at €3.5m.
