Student housing on the Spanish real estate market has been attracting an increasing amount of investor interest, according to a report published by CBRE. Only 20 percent of the country’s available student housing complexes are owned and operated by private investors, while 80 percent are owned and operated by public universities, according to the CBRE report. Spain is among the top 10 most popular countries for students participating in the the Erasmus study abroad program.
