Miami-based Banyan Street Capital has tapped CBRE as the exclusive leasing agent for Rivergate Tower in downtown Tampa. Banyan Street picked up the asset this past August for $70 million. The company plans to invest $11 million into the property in the coming year. Located at 400 North Ashley Drive, the building was constructed in 1988 as one of the tallest limestone structures in the world and offers unobstructed 360-degree views of the Tampa skyline. It’s currently 80 percent leased to tenants like Sykes Enterprises, Butler Pappas, Wilson Human Capital, Digital Hands and Northstar Bank.
