The town of Winter Park has made CBRE its new real estate advisors. Assigned to a three-year term, the firm will be responsible for cutting the city’s operating real estate expenses, align real estate operations with services provided to residents, monitize under-used assets and sell off surplus property. CBRE will also advise the city on strategy and highest and best use of certain parcels of land, as well as serve as the city’s representative on transactions.
“Winter Park is a unique and special city,” stated Bill Moss, Managing Director CBRE. “The city wants to manage its growth and maintain its character and build upon the live/work/play environment. With infrastructure improvements under way, such as the SunRail line connecting Winter Park with the entire region, this is an opportune time for the city to assess and evaluate its long-term real estate strategy and implement plans that will positively impact its residents and businesses for generations to come.”
