CCECC to build 500 apartments in Botosani

18 September 2015

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) is planning to build a residential neighborhood with at least 500 apartments in Botosani, northern Moldavia. The company has already met with city officials to discuss the project, set to go up on land formerly owned by the Army.

“We analyzed primarily the feasibility of such a project in Botosani. It is necessary to establish a segment of solvent demand for housing. We will make a site visit to see the location. There is interest not only for the city of Botosani, but for the entire northeast region of the country,” Botosani Mayor Ovidiu Portariuc told Agerpress.
CCECC was founded in 1979 and operates in more than 60 countries and regions worldwide. In 2014, the company posted a turnover of $3.8bn.
