The vice leader of the Polish vodka market CEDC, the producer of such brands like Bols and Żubrówka, recorded a loss of US 1.2 billion in 2011, that gave the worst result eve for the company and also for Warsaw Stock Exchange. The result has been effected by deduction of US 1.1. billion caused by the decline in the company’s value as well as by losing its trademarks. The issues, however, have not affected the result at the extent as it would might seems, because without them CEDC would not be able to achieve the earlier planned net profit for 2011.
