CEFC is preparing to take over the Florentinum office complex in Prague 1. The Chinese investor has already established an SPV called CEFC Florentinum, writes the server e15. The takeover of the complex, offering 49,000 sqm of office and retail space that Penta built near the Masarykovo train station in central Prague, is the company’s first major Czech office acquisition. The building, completed in 2014, is fully leased. The price is in the vicinity of €280m, according to information recently published by iDnes.cz. CEFC has previously focused on hotel acquisitions, having bought Mandarin Oriental in Prague 1 and Le Palais in Prague 2-Vinohrady.
