Cemacon triples profit in 2021

Last year, the construction materials manufacturer Cemacon Zalău increased its turnover by 41.98 percent, to RON 190.90 million, from RON 134.45 million in 2020. In 2021, the company achieved sales revenues of RON 176, 01 million, 40.57 percent higher than the RON 125.21 million from the previous financial year.

Expenditures on raw materials last year were RON 29.84 million, up 35.45 percent compared to RON 22.03 million in 2020. At the same time, the overall net result tripled to RON 72.45 million, from RON 22.47 million.

Cemacon is 94.49 percent controlled by the founders of Dedeman, brothers Dragoș and Adrian Pavăl, through Pavăl Holding and PIF Industrial.
